OFFICIAL ~PRESS RELEASE.
After some discussion, we’ve reached some official decisions about our little watchalong! Here’s a run through of how everything will work.
- Every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, we will post the download link to the new episode at around 2 pm EST. Of course, you are not required to watch it then, you have until the next scheduled ‘watch day’ to watch it!
- We will wait until the following day before we start to post/reblog arts from the newest episode, to give people a chance to watch before being spoiled.
- After an episode is done watching, we plan on posting a ‘Episode Stats’ post, which will include the following categories: pop culture references, Cappie nicknames, a ‘douche’ count, Cartwright history, familiar faces, and favorite quotes. For favorite quotes, we want you guys to send your favorite quote/exchange from the episode to our ask box after you’ve watched it, and we’ll put them all in the post!
- As far as posting goes, if you make any arts for the episodes, please remember to tag it with greekwatchalong so we can find it easily to reblog! If we haven’t reblogged it after a day or two, please send us a link in our ask, we might have missed it! Also, there’s always the submission option! We will post arts from the episodes until the new week starts. For example, if we’re starting 102 on Monday, 103 on Wednesday, and 104 on Friday, we will wait until we’ve started the episode before posting arts from that episode, but we could still be posting stuff from 102 and 103 by Sunday. But come 105 on Monday, we’ll be done posting arts from 102-104. If any of that makes sense.
- We also want to try to have some kind of episode discussion, but we’re not totally sure how that will work yet, since Tumblr doesn’t really support that kind of stuff. We’ll likely create a post entitled Episode Discussion, and our followers can either reply (the limit may be problematic), or reblog and post their thoughts, and anyone that wants to see other people’s thoughts that can follow the discussion thread! We’ll keep an eye on that and see how it ends up working out.
